This Isn’t a Traditional Underwater Shoot

Unlike a standard portrait session, Coming Up For Air begins with a conversation. Together we'll explore what this chapter represents, develop a creative concept, and create imagery that reflects more than just how you looked at a point in time.

Whether you're celebrating a milestone, moving through a period of change, honouring a personal achievement, overcoming a challenge, or stepping into a new beginning, these sessions are designed to create meaningful artwork connected to that experience. Before entering the water, we'll take a moment to acknowledge the intention behind the session. Nothing complicated or ceremonial—simply a chance to pause, reflect, and create a deeper connection to the images we're about to make.

Photographed in the ocean or a pool, the experience combines creative direction, underwater photography, and personal storytelling to produce imagery that feels powerful, authentic, and unique to you.
